I currently live in Burke County with my husband, my daughter and my dog. In my spare time, I like to hike, cook, craft, and spend time with my family. Growing up in Lenoir, I was born into a big family of furniture craftsmen. Furniture is in my blood. I’m a NC native and I graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Communications. I really enjoy getting to know my clients and designing spaces that make them happy. I have been with Tyson Furniture for 8+ years. This is the most family-oriented company that I’ve ever worked for and I love helping the wonderful customers we have here.
I have been passionate about art & design since childhood, with vivid memories of studying my mother’s Southern Living magazines as a child to “design” my own bedroom. I spent the previous 15 years teaching art & 2D design while my four children were young. During that time, I became an artist & nationally recognized teacher, earning a Master of Arts degree with an emphasis in painting and interior design. As a design consultant for Tyson Furniture, I enjoy getting to know my customers and building relationships. I’m often told by my clients that I listen well to their specific needs & translate them into beautiful personalized interiors. I’m ready to work together toward your new project goals!
As a service minded creative type, I love working in a family environment. Originally from Virginia, I began as a retail furniture buyer and transitioned into kitchen and bath design after moving to the coast of NC. In 2007, my husband and I moved to WNC to be closer to family and I eventually found my way back to Home Decor. I've been with Tyson Furniture since 2011 and the wealth of knowledge here is invaluable. When I'm not working, I enjoy cooking and spending time with family, especially near the salty air of the sea, or hiking in these beautiful mountains.
I'm Originally from VA, but moved to Asheville NC in 2011 via 23 years in Atlanta where my son was born and raised. He is my Pride and Joy. I've been in Sales since 1993 and joined Tyson Furniture in 2006. I love meeting people and working with them to create a space that beautifies their home. I enjoy being creative mixing traditional styles with transitional pieces to Design a room that reflects the personality of the Client.
I grew up in rural upstate NY and moved on to earn my BFA in Illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design. In 2015 I relocated to WNC where I began my career in Furniture and Design.
Traveling and residing in different environments has shaped me into an individual that has a true appreciation for style, art and design. My affection for color, texture, pattern, and spacial planning is applied to create a personalized vibe in a room or home. From old homes filled with antiques, to a modern space with clean lines, I love working with all of my client’s individual tastes, lifestyles and visions.
I started in the design field in 2002. Working in both commercial and residential interiors.
I take the time to listen to each client and develop a plan combining design and function to make their home a place they want to share with their friends and family. To entertain and to live in.
Using a mixture of colors, textures and lighting to reflect the clients personalities and suit their design needs.
I really believe that you should love every piece that you bring into your space. Your home should feel comfortable and inviting and really reflect your own unique personality.
In 2009 I was chosen to design the interiors for the DIY Blog Cabin. Featured on the DIY Channel, HGTV and in Coastal Living magazine.
Whether classic or contemporary I will strive to exceed your expectations.

I was raised in Raleigh and spent most of my twenties in NYC before moving to Asheville in 2015.
Brought up by creative parents, I was always surrounded by the arts. I received my BFA in Graphic Design, but it wasn't until much later that I decided to pursue my lifelong passion for interiors.
I have an eye for design, and love helping people create beautiful spaces for their homes. I appreciate all styles from Contemporary and Minimalist design to French Country and everything in between. I’m excited to be a part of the Tyson Team!
As a Black Mountain native, Tyson's holds a special place in my heart as well as the heart of this town. It’s an honor to work in such a family oriented place while creating family spaces for you and your family Since 2016. I reside in Black Mountain with my two lovely daughters, who bring me incredible joy. We enjoy cooking, hiking, camping, music and art together.
